Starting on June 20, 2013

We are looking for a mature, responsible, loving & caring care provider to assist our family as a part time nanny who can come to our home at 7 a.m. prepare his breakfast and get our son to school in Sparks. A typical week would consist of: 7:00 a.m. -9:00 a.m. Monday through Thursday in addition to picking him up from school at 3 :00 p.m. to-possibly 7:30 p.m., Monday through Wednesday and possibly 2 saturdays a month, and negotiable additional hours as well. We would also need someone to work some full days when he is off from school including random school holidays and vacation days :according to his school calendar. The pay starts at: $11.00 per hour and gas money is negotiable as well.
We pay biweekly through a direct deposit and an email check receipt is sent to the nanny biweekly.
However, We DO NOT offer any health or worker’s comp Insurance for this position.

When school is out for the summer starting at the beginning of June, we will also need additional care. He will attend a summer camp, so the hours will be a little less and not so early in the morning…

Our child is a HIGH FUNCTIONING child with Aspergers and we would prefer an individual who has had prior nanny, tutoring or teaching experience with Special Needs children in this arena, but we are willing to train the nanny on this amazing child of ours! Highly intellligent and a littel quirky, but loving, affectionate and smarter than most of us!

The Potential nanny must have a clean personal driving record, they must maintain their own vehicle and be fully covered with auto insurance of their own, be a non-smoker/drinker, CPR trained, and be willing to have a background check and any drug test performed at any time at our expense and or request. Our ideal situation is to hire someone that can bring our son home, aide/tutor in his completion of homework, play with him (he is an only child, but we do not want to hire anyone who has a child of their own), and help with chores around the house and be mommy’s big helper from time to time. It is important that our son really likes this person and that there is a natural bond!

We are so excited to bring someone new into our lives and have them become a part of our family. We are loving individuals with the overall goal to have someone come in that we can trust with our child, love him unconditionally and create great fun and memorable life experiences.

Our son’s nanny of over three years went to Tennessee to obtain her Doctorate degree and we miss her terribly. She tells me I was the best employer she ever worked for! Heart To Hand School serves children from 2 years to 6 years old. We are a Waldorf Initiative in Reno.
We are seeking a friendly, reliable and responsible person to join our aftercare staff. Our aftercare program has a Waldorf friendly rhythm (i.e. schedule) of nap, outdoor time, snack time and indoor activities. Aftercare program is from 12:30-5:30(or until the last child is picked up.) Nap time / aftercare are the most important part of the day. These little ones have been away from Mom, Dad or caregiver since the morning hours. They need a little extra love and attention. This time of the day there is no “true curriculum” but there is a rhythm.

Duties are as follows:

Arrive and help morning teachers clean up lunch.
Put out nap time mats. Make the children’s beds and make the room dark and cozy.
Read a story or telling a short story before nap, sing or play music. Help create a soft relaxing mood, helping children settle into sleep.
Sweep and clean floors while children are sleeping.
Get snack ready.
Facilitate play and activities tell parents pick-up.
Clean and close up.

*position is Monday- Friday to begin June 1
*$10/hr
